Nov 1, 2016 – The Gilan episode of Ariana’s Persian Kitchen is now airing on Fox Life India. Enjoy!

Gilan by the Caspian Sea is famous for its unique cuisine! It also has lots of different types of pickles and ‘chutneys’ called Torshis: aged garlic, green beans, walnuts, hafteh bijar (7 local herbs) etc plus different kinds of jams/preserves citron, orange blossom, black mulberry, orange peel, cornelian cherry (zoghalakhteh). Am I missing anything??
